“Beautifull House Not a long vacation but we were lucky to have stayed in Mr. Albertos Villa. The house is so beautiful and clean, big enough for a big family. The garden is lovely and the most worthwhile is the location, the house is close to the coast and great view. Varous Great Restaurants in walking distance; La Spezia and Porto Venere are places worth visiting and vacationing. Thanks again Alberto ”

“We had a fantastic stay at Enrico and Elena's place. The views are amazing and the location could not be better. Thank you Enrico and Elena!”

“Communication for this home is poor with the home owner. The home was very difficult to locate via GPS. Their were no instructions given on how to better locate the home. The owner finally came to get us and have us follow his bike. There were 2 rolls of TP for 7 people. The home had no paper towels or dish towels. The rooms were spacious. The beds hard. While the view was beautiful, this is not a home I'd recommend. ”

“Wer Ruhe und Natur liebt ist hier richtig. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind super nett und die gesamte Abwicklung war sehr unkompliziert. Der Ausblick auf Rapallo ist grandios. Der Olivenhain rund ums Haus gleicht einem botanischen Garten. Pflanzen-Interessierten geht das Herz auf. Alleine der Aufstieg zum Haus ist sehr anstrengend und daher nur was für fitte Leute! Gepäck und Einkäufe können glücklicherweise mit einer Seilbahn nach oben...

“Paolo was an excellent host and this property is amazing. Paolo met us at the train station, along with a shuttle for us and our large group’s luggage. The shuttle was essential throughout our trip as this property is up a long and steep hill from the main town. The house is well kept and the accommodations were perfect - even had a changing table and crib for our toddler. The views are amazing and even in summer there was no need for AC given the constant and cool breeze. I wish we could have...

“Beautiful home with a spectacular view. Very spacious for our family of twelve. Filled with beautiful furnishings and personal touches. Great location, convenient to the train station, restaurants and the beach but also very private. Be prepared to climb the stairs. That’s the price you pay for the spectacular views. ”

“My family loved staying here. It is in the most iconic, quaint charming place we could possibly stay in Cinque Terre with the most spectacular views. The photos don’t even come close to doing it justice. I’ve already recommended it to all my friends. Note, like most of Cinque Terre, be prepared for stairs, lots and lots of stairs to get here, and ladders. Of course, this is part of the charm we fell in love with.”

“This beautiful villa with it's amazing garden and surroundings was perfect for us, a family of four. Everything exceeded our high expectations and the host, Luigi, was so kind and helpful. For us, travelling by car, the free parking was very valuable. Everything you could possible ask for was available in the house and waking up to the stunning view and having breakfast outside was just perfect! The only problem is that you can't stay forever.. /Hilda, Elsa, Anna and Roger”

“Trés bien située pour explorer les cinq terres et la région de Lerrici. Anna Lisa est vraiment exceptionnelle : gentillesse et disponible. C'est une magnifique maison ou il fait bon vivre à l'italienne. Le bémol est de dire que la piscine fait 5m sur 3m, je pense qu'elle est bien plus petite.Cela vient de l'annonce (pas d'anna lisa).”

“Facility was very unique! Family experienced how castle existed since 15th century and still an architectural showpiece. Beautiful grounds and setting. Castle was as listed by owner. Views are spectacular. ”

“Meine Familie und ich können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Einfach und unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Sehr schöne und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft mit sehr viel Platz und wunderschönem Ausblick aus Fenstern und der Terrasse. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen, immer wieder gerne.”

“Smooth check-in and check-out to the residence. Good communication with the landlord, friendly. Nice pool where the children swam all the time and the adults too. Good barbecue facilities and pizza oven which we took advantage of. Good, fully equipped kitchen. Lovely surroundings and large plot, beautiful view. Good parking for the cars on the plot. Perfect accommodation for big family (we were seven).”

“The house is lovely. It's nice and big and we could spread out. The Property manager made sure we had everything we needed. But there are some drawbacks. The bathrooms don't have regular showers. Four of the five bathrooms have handheld showers in a bathtub which is a little difficult for Americans who are not used to it. The lighting in the kitchen is very poor and we like to cook. The utensils and pots and pans were also not great, and made it difficult to cook.”

Stylish and Centrally Located, but Parking Mislead

"We stayed two nights at Hotel Cavour in Florence and had a very pleasant experience overall. The building itself exudes classic Italian elegance, and the hotel’s modern, stylish interiors impressed us. From the reception to our room, everything was thoughtfully designed with tasteful furniture and décor. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a warm, inviting bathroom that added to our comfort. The location was fantastic—right in the city center, making it easy to explore Florence’s main attractions on foot. While we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it, there was one downside: the parking situation. Hotel.com let hotels list that they have ”parking available”, which we assumed meant a private parking spot at the hotel. Instead, we were directed to use street parking or a nearby garage, costing us €30 per day. This was disappointing and felt misleading, especially since other hotels we’ve chosen with parking included onsite, free options. Listing parking as “available” when it simply means directing guests to expensive external garages feels unfair. Aside from this issue, Hotel Cavour is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay in Florence. If parking is not a concern for you, it’s an excellent choice!"
