“Sehr große, saubere Zimmer in Bungalows mit Terrasse. Schöner Pool und Garten. Die kleine Straße ist erstaunlich viel befahren und entsprechend war es in der Nacht nicht so ruhig wie erwartet. Die beschriebenen Trails auf dem Gelände sind etwas enttäuschend. Das Abendessen vom Büffet ist einfach aber geschmacklich ok. Frühstück auch sehr einfach.”

“Absolutely stunning property in the middle of the forest! This location is a must. You are surrounded by nature and all you hear day and night is the rushing of the river. Every single staff member there was very friendly and helpful. Cabins are spacious and include a kitchenette in them. Day activities were easy to schedule. Ziplining was fantastic here, highly recommended!”

“We felt in love with this place. Jorge the son of the house is very helpful and he likes to share with his guests, he is an excellent English speaker. We enjoyed the pool (natural spring water) and the view. The breakfast is very traditional and good quality. We thanks to whole family for this experience. We also had the occasion to have diner at the restaurant runned by the daughter of the family. The meat is home smoked. ”

“The house and grounds are beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous looking over the lake. Pool was fantastic. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Check in easy and there was even a welcome basket with fruit. Would stay again. The only thing people need to know is that it is 45 min to La Fortuna even though it looks closer on the map. This didn’t bother us but if you are expecting to just pop in and out of town you need to plan accordingly from a time perspective.”

“This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. ”

“Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Helped us with seeing wildlife in the surrounding rain forest. He delivered our daily breakfasts with his car…..a short drive from his house to our cabin. Refreshed our sit-in pool during our stay. Upon our request….gave us coffee for the coffee maker. Very friendly owner…..enjoyed chatting about wildlife!”

“Es handelt sich um ein riesieges Holzgebäude,das jemand vor mehreren Jahren mit viel Liebe gebaut hat. Es liegt abseits der Straße auf einem Mischgelände aus Kuhwiesen u. Restwald. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, rustikal und nach aussen offen, so dass man abends- wenn man nicht von Moskitos zerfressen werden will- kein Licht benutzen sollte. Das Personal wirkte unmotiviert, unfreudlich u. wenig hilfsbereit. Beim Einchecken bekommt man direkt eine Liste mit Aktivitäten, gezeigt u. natürlich die...
