Great place!! As advertised, very welcoming and felt like home. If there was a question the host was quick to respond. Very accommodating. We had a last minute need to check out a little later than the check out time and the host worked with us and made it possible making a stressful situation much better. If we’re in the area again we will definitely stay here again. Great location as well!

This is a great house to stay in for the foxlea farms horse shows or if you’re just down snow birding. The hosts are super accommodating and have the fridge pre stocked with lots of goodies! The beds were super comfy and I loved that the main bedroom had it’s own ac for the room as I get super hot . I will stay here again next year when we come down!

My family of four enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was refreshing and used often. The location is convenient to Venice and Englewood Beaches. Amy and Rick were just a phone call away. We did not experience any problems. Welcome snacks and a bottle of Wine was left for us. Easy check in and check out. The location is in a quiet neighborhood.

The host was very agreeable to help with anything we needed. The neighborhood was convenient to a lot of the things we liked to do. The only thing that could be improved is the furniture. The bed in one bedroom squeaked horribly, and there wasn't adequate, comfortable seating in the living area.

Great stay in Venice.

We had a great stay at this property in Venice. Our kids loved the swimming pool in the backyard and got a lot of use out of it. Everything was clean. We had plenty of space for the whole family. The host was very responsive when I contacted him with a few questions. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Very nice stay in Venice Florida

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We loved that there were three bedrooms, so our kids each got their own room. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, which was nice. The location was very close to Highway 41, which we discovered leads to basically everywhere you want to go. The host was very friendly and attentive and communicative. There is a private pool that is heated, though we were disappointed that there was some trouble with the heater staying on so the pool temp wasn't warming up enough for me or my husband to swim in it much. But, it's a beautiful pool and all closed in and our kids still swam a ton in it, since they are Michigan kids and can deal with colder temps lol. All in all, it was a very nice place to stay.

Beware of this one!! Host is a character.. showed up to the property acting hostile and rude. Banging on the door and threatening us, complaining about our dog and spewing something about neighbors calling. The majority of the people in the house (5 total) are in their 50’s and very reserved and we didn’t even have music on, nothing. We made some food on the broken, unsafe grill that is in the yard. We proceeded to eat at the table as a family when we heard the banging on the door. When I tell you the grill is unsafe, I mean it has NO bottom on it. You look right down to the tank. Besides that, and while you’re enjoying the yard/pool, please know that they don’t maintain the pool. I have pictures and video but to explain, the amount of debris on the bottom what appalling. If that’s not enough to make you look elsewhere, the rest of the utilities/amenities were also questionable. Use caution in the master bathroom because the 30 toilet is barely able to flush. The one in the bedroom bathroom isn’t exactly stable either, it’s loose and shaky. Central air doesn’t work. Undersized tires window units everywhere. Tiny ants infested throughout home. Washer/dryer from the 70s. Owner borderline psychotic. His past experiences and his nervous nature must be the cause of that interaction. Anyway, find somewhere else. Oh, I didn’t mention the price change AFTER booking. Not paying that.
