“Me and my friend booked this place as it was quite close to where we shared a house as students 6 years ago and the charm was the same, for us it was a familiar and comfortable stay - the staff were lovely and helpful too, rooms were very nice and it was great value for the pricing. If you don't mind a shared shower, toilets and kitchen area, definitely give it a go. My one critique of the house was that the door locks were a little finicky, a few times me and a few other guests got stuck...

“It is a lovely place, the staff is amazing. Very friendly and service minded. The breakfast was delicious! But, the room is very cold, only kne radiator for multiple rooms, old windows letting in all the cold. Worst was that there were no heating or power outlets in the bathroom. Super cold! And a very big spider lived there... I ate dinner one evening at the mansion, it was not worth the money. Minute steak and some fries for 20 pounds. Took 5 seconds to eat. No taste. ”

“Stayed one night. Wished for two single beds, but got a double. Bed in itself was comfortable but we still couldnt sleep. There were sounds from the ac even though we had turned it off. No view, the windows were covered. Bathroom had a tub and a gand shower but it was impossible to stand up straight and shower due to the roof. There was also no curtain. “Lovely stay. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking and very easy to check in (just send a message on here or contact the property directly to advise of your arrival time.) The breakfast was really great and there is lots of options for all diets. Room was spacious and clean, bed was really comfortable. There is also a fridge under the stairs for guests to use which is very thoughtful. Plenty of parking right outside. There’s a few restaurants and a supermarket a short walk...
