“We had a great stay at Pippo a Vernazza. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and clean with all required amenities ie hair dryer, safe, mini fridge. The laundry next door was very convenient. The Pippo restaurant was delicious as was the nearby breakfast and steak restaurants. Walkable to the train station with no stairs on the way and an elevator in the building. Overall a perfect spot to explore Cinque Terre from. ”

"This is a wounderful hotel, located in a little bit calmer area of Florence. The breakfast was generous and the restaurant was nice and quiet. From the top floor you have an excellent view of the river. The staff is also very serviceminded and it feels more like a five star hotel in many aspects. We celebrated our honeymoon at the hotel 20 years ago and were delighted to come back this september. "

We had a room with a balcony and private bathroom and can strongly recommend booking it. Some of the other rooms are sharing a bathroom. The hotel has several quaint outdoor terraces and a fridge full of beverages (both alcoholic and not) that you can serve yourself and put on your tab. But if you are lucky someone in the staff will be there and you will get great service and a good chat. Only downside is that breakfast starts quite late, at 8.15. But we still had plenty of time for hiking"
