“What a beautiful clean cabin nestled next to a brook with lots of hiking paths to explore. Centrally located to several ski resorts. Matt was the most excellent host! I look forward to returning during other seasons!”

“This property is fairytale cute, so welcoming and relaxing. We had a beautiful stay in Vermont thanks to this location. And there were surprise puppies on site!!!!! Honestly this was the kind of trip that gives you confidence in vacation rentals. Clean, wonderfully decorated, off the beaten path a truly relaxing stay! Go outside at night!!!! We dont have stars like that in the city.”

“The cabin is very nice. It is in good shape. It is well decorated. It is very comfy, and it has everything you could possibly need. It is very close to the town of Wilmington, hiking trails, fishing, pond, lakes, and rivers. Sarah, the owner, was very responsive to any questions or needs. There’s a very nice eclectic restaurant in Wilmington that we really enjoyed called Jezebel. There is a high likelihood we would be coming back at some point in the future.”

“The cabin has a well equipped kitchen, is lovingly maintained, with a nice fenced in grassy yard and hiking trails that connect straight to the property. It is very roomy and comfortably hosted 7 of us. Great view from the deck. Amazing view of the heavens with no light pollution at night.”

“The house is peaceful because it is set back from the road. The size is perfect for family or friends to share together. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to make meals together. But also close to small food shops and farmers stands. We were able to take several nice day trips in both VT & MA. The hosts were gracious & very responsive to any questions. We miss the house already.”

“The house was very clean and cozy. Nice and peaceful get away in a remote cabin with my wife and both of the dogs! They provided dog toys and a bed for our pups with additional treats, they were very happy about this! If you are looking for a quiet get away to slow down and reconnect with your family this is the place to be!”

“The house was a very cute ski cabin-y feeling vacation spot with a gorgeous view of the reservoir. Location was great- not too far from the center of Wilmington. And a drive through the mountains/National Forest away from the other cities/tourist areas near Bennington. It snowed while we were staying and the owners stayed on top of plowing so we could drive in and out - they weren't kidding about needing 4WD to get in and out in the winter. Overall, we'd come back in a heartbeat”

“Beautiful home with everything that we needed. Short drive to Landmark College to see our daughter and close to Brattleboro shopping and restaurants. The river was also wonderful to wake up to. Highly recommend! ”

“Beautiful views from all the windows, quiet, private, clean and comfortable! Well worth a three day stay in October with all the leaves changing colors. Kayaks provided were so appreciated, allowing us to paddle around the whole lake and enjoy the colors and views even more. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my elderly mother. Great towns within easy drive, lots to explore!”

“We loved staying here! In a very secluded area, giving you great privacy. We loved the hot tub! Nick was very responsive and even started the wood stove before we arrived. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet getaway! We would most definitely return!”

“We absolutely loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. Everything was clean and tidy, minus some trash that was left around the firepit, presumably from a previous guest, that we cleaned up. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools and the bathroom was just big enough. Guests should take note though that the shower was definitely a tight fit for my 6'1" husband and the furniture was also a struggle for him.
