“Great breakfast. Free parking and accessible to many tourists sites. Delightful and helpful staff. Many steps, room air conditioning not working. Very poor shower in bathroom.”

“This Inn was a bit strange! We was given a room that was clearly sub standard. Thankfully we was given an other room the next day that was alright. Breakfast was different from most breakfast I ’ve ever had at a hotel, strange but kind of fun! The whole Inn desperately need some maintenance, but I think the experience very much depends on which room you are given. The staff was helpful and kind. All things considered, I think it was an affordable hotel.”

“Breakfast had these awesome ratings but it was really, really poor. Parking was in an adjacent hotel but not allowed outside Thatch which was odd when there are a minimal amount of rooms. It meant parking, carrying bags and then parking again. There was limited staff and you had to search for them if requiring anything. for instance the coffee machine was out of water and we had to wait 20-30 minutes for a member of staff to appear in the lounge to refill. “Our stay at Karl and Mandy’s couldn’t have been better! From the easy check-in to the incredible grounds, delicious breakfast and our nightly soak in our private hot tub, everything was top notch. We were even greeted by two does on our first morning! With a fifteen minute drive from the airport and another fifteen to downtown Victoria, the location is ideal. I definitely recommend these accommodations and would very much like to return the next time we visit Victoria!”

“Just wrapped up a wonderful 2 night stay at Fairholme Manor! Property is immaculately maintained, in a quiet area but still a quick 10 minute drive from downtown Victoria. We stayed in suite number 7 (the penthouse), which was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Staff were friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend!”
