The owners had many great suggestions of things to see and fo nearby, great places to eat, and places to go for this being our second trip to Portsmouth so we had too much to do and lived it all! “We stayed at Ryan's property for 3 weeks while we explored beautiful Dominica. The place was very clean and well maintained. Check in was super easy and everything worked. The wifi was excellent. The apartment was quite comfortable with a sizeable deck overlooking Portsmouth Harbour and Cabrits National Park. Guadeluope is also visible in the distance. It's a little bit of a climb from the main road but the view is spectacular and definitely worth it. We would stay there again for sure.”

“The house is new and very clean. Ideally located near Mero and between Portsmouth and Roseau. We'll appointed kitchen. Lots of supplies (towels, kitchen stuff, bed linen, etc). Very quiet neighborhood with security cameras, lights and a steel gate entry for peace of mind. Owner was very responsive with query. Definitely the best place to stay in Dominica so far.”

“It was on the top of a house and that made it seem special. AC was in the bedroom and could cool the apartment. It had US plugs for 110 volt current all over the apartment. Even had an umbrella for a tropical storm that blew near. Close enough to the capital of Roseau and on the north side. Therefore, ease in traveling north of the country.”

“Very spacious, only one reasonable step outside, then all one level. Great views. Note that it is up a steep hill, if you don't plan to have a car. (That steep hill buys you those views!) Very large kitchen. A/C in bedrooms only, but that was more than enough. Small desk was great for doing a bit of work. Parking just outside the door. Strong Internet. Ryan was very responsive. Fantastic value for the price.”

"This hotel has probably been very nice when it was newly built, but I'm sorry to say that it only feels very old now. The view is fantastic, and the staff is nice and friendly, but that is about it. On the Choice Hotels webpage, it says: "Convenient to restaurants and beaches". I don't know where there are any other restaurants than the hotel restaurant? And to be honest, the hotel restaurant is not good at all. The food is very simple and the restaurant is not charming at all. It could be fantastic if it was facing the view of the ocean, but it just feels dark and old. So I'm very sorry to say, that I will not be coming back to this hotel."
