“Lovely house situated in a very quiet area. Property was very clean and comfortable, well maintained with good furniture. Plenty of parking area. The swimming pool is great and kept clean with the owner working hard to keep it that way. “We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. “We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way further south in France.The location is so quiet and pretty and the fenced garden meant we could relax and not worry about the dog or the kids wandering too far. The pool is ideal for small kids with a clever ladder which means when you don’t want them to get in you can remove the ladder.
