“The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. ”

“Our family and friends enjoyed a nice long weekend at the house. The house was great. Plenty of space for two families to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub and the spacious patio. Our only suggestion would be to provide more information on the house for guests. (Trash pickup, info on the neighborhood, etc)”

“Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. ”
