“It was perfect. It’s conveniently located near Banner Elk restaurants and the park, as well as other activities. Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. Lisa (the owner) was a great communicator and made me feel like we were already friends!”

“My son, daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights while we toured App State for my son. This place was perfect! It's in an idyllic setting at the "Top of Boone" - literally, it didn't feel like we could get much higher. The cabin was clean, had all the amenities you'd need for stay away from home, and it was convenient to downtown Boone and campus. It's not walkable to King Street, due to the elevation and winding mountain roads, but it's still very close! Amazing view of the Blue Ridge...

“We had a great stay! Back porch overlooking the lake was our go to spot for relaxing in the shade. Just a few minutes away from the Mercantile for breakfast and Villa Nova winery for a great evening for live music and enjoying the views. “What a “Million” dollar view this place has! My wife and I usually do a lot of hiking any cabin we go to but, this place felt magical. One with nature, no big city sound only sounds of nature and the wind… You didn’t want to get out of the swinging bed and when you did it was a dip in the hot tub and every single spot you sat in you had a different viewpoint! Wow, just WOW! Honestly, just bring all your food to cook or reheat and relax with nothing to bother you and your loved ones. So peaceful...
