External Description

Villa Palagetto is nestled among the gentle hills of the Bagno a Ripoli countryside, just 15 minutes from the heart of Florence. An oasis of peace and charm, the property consists of a main villa and a lovely guesthouse, surrounded by a fully fenced private garden meticulously cared for in every detail: an English-style lawn, Mediterranean plants, elegant terracotta pots, and majestic olive trees framing the view.

Beneath the spacious covered patio with wooden beams and large glass windows, you will find a dining table for ten, perfect for enjoying convivial dinners overlooking the greenery. In the garden, a built-in outdoor kitchen with oven and barbecue invites guests to prepare delicious grilled meals in the company of family and friends.

Guests also have access to a second garden, where a beautiful pool (8 x 4 m, depth 1.20 - 2.10 m) awaits. The pool is open from mid-April to the end of November and features an outdoor shower, sun loungers, deck chairs, parasol, and lounge area — ideal for relaxing in the sun or sipping an aperitif at sunset. Next to the pool, there is another built-in kitchen with oven and barbecue, as well as a second dining table for ten, perfect for fully embracing outdoor living.

The owners live in the lower ground floor of the villa, on the pool side, with their own private entrance. They are always discreet and respectful of guests’ privacy, do not use the pool during guests’ stays, and remain available if needed. They also have two friendly dogs, who may occasionally wander freely around the pool garden.

To make your stay even more enjoyable, guests can also use a table football (foosball) set under the pergola, perfect for fun matches between young and old alike, as well as an outdoor parking area for three cars, shared with the owners.

Internal Description

Villa Palagetto consists of a main building and a dependance, both on the ground floor. The entire property can sleep up to 10 people, has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have mosquito screens on the windows. Pets are welcome upon request.

Main building: From the external porch, you enter a lovely covered veranda, enhanced by large glass windows that flood the space with natural light. This welcoming area serves as an elegant winter lounge, tastefully furnished with a comfortable sofa, wicker armchairs, and a satellite tv, the perfect spot to relax in total peace.

Stepping inside the house, you are greeted by a refined and bright living room, where a working fireplace creates a warm and homely atmosphere. The furnishings — including a leather sofa, a dining table for 6/8 people, elegant chandeliers, a satellite tv, and a private terrace — make it an ideal space for sharing dinners and evenings in good company.

Next to the living room, you’ll find a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, complete with an oven, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, and microwave. The kitchen also has direct access to the veranda, allowing a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living areas.

The sleeping area includes 1 elegant double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom (with joinable beds, ensuite bathroom with bathtub, and direct access to the garden), and 1 bedroom with two bunk beds, ideal for children or teenagers, equipped with a desk and chair. Completing the sleeping area is a second bathroom with shower.

Dependance: The dependance welcomes guests into an intimate and refined setting, featuring terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams that reflect the authentic charm of traditional Tuscan country homes.

Inside, there is a cozy living area with a double sofa bed, a small equipped kitchen, and a dining table for four people. The double bedroom offers a spacious wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with shower, ensuring both comfort and privacy in a warm, rustic atmosphere.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity); house, garden, and pool maintenance; Internet Wifi.

Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (300.00€); any extra services upon request. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.
