“Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. “This place had everything you can think of. What a great place! The amenities, style/design, floor plan and character were so nice!”

“Overall it was a nice two night stay. A few things that stood out. The beds were very comfortable! The outside of the house was overgrown and dirty, screen was ripped on the back patio, table and chairs were dirty, and the upstairs patio was also dirty. The inside was clean except the rugs couch, and carpet need some TLC. The Keurig did not work the entire time. Coffee in the morning was a necessity so this was really disappointing. “We loved the property and would come back again, however, the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs were very skinny and no depth to the stair. Your whole foot didn't fit on the step and coming back down the steps was dicey. We loved the rest of the house though! It was beautiful!”

“The location is perfect. Very close to the old downtown area and bike/hiking trail. The beds were extremely comfortable and the fenced in backyard was perfect. A bonus was the family of three red shoulder hawks that made regular visits to the backyard.”

“Small farm town feel. Nice job renovating the location. If you’re looking at cooking or doing in the kitchen, they have everything you need there. Lighting in the bedroom throughout the night. It is pretty light with the street lights as there are no shades so if your used to sleeping in dark rooms that will not happen here. Very historic building we were not there very much other than to just sleep.”
