“The gite was airy and pretty with lots of space for family to relax and choice of outside areas to eat. The salt pool was amazing, beautifully maintained and we used it every day. One thing to be aware of is that the pool’s in the back garden of the owners’ house and overlooked by their dining area. “We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants.
