“We were very pleased upon arrival, the home was beautiful, clean, and nicely decorated. The check in was easy. Loved how spacious the layout of the home is and the downstairs was perfect for my in-laws. The couches were very comfortable & the backyard was very nice, private, and peaceful. We enjoyed being out there most of the time. Nice comfortable patio furniture and fire place. It was a bonus being able to bring our two dogs who absolutely loved their vacation playing in the fenced in area....

“The management agent/host was very responsive. That’s the only positive thing I have to say. The house was old. We knew that going in. We expected that it would at least be reasonable maintained. It wasn’t. Not even close. There were so many things wrong with this home. The oven stopped working. Stove only partial worked. Many of the kitchen floor tiles were cracked. Dishwasher not secured. Casement windows couldn’t be opened as mechanism was stripped. Main kitchen was poorly lacking...

“The hosts are excellent people, great communicators who want VBRO guests to have an outstanding experience. Chappy is a wonderful retreat from the rest of the world. That is my only word of caution, it requires a ferry to eat out or shop. Otherwise this is a great place to read write meditate beach and let go of everyday worries. It has a higher price tag because your paying for a premium location, guest service experience and higher quality accomodation.”
