Hotell nära Virginia Creeper Damascus

“Perfectly located in town. Easy self checkin. Comfortable and clean. We had a great stay.”

“Our stay was most enjoyable. Accomodations were great. Coffee 24/7! Our hosts were friendly. The downtown location allowed us access to a grocery store, eateries, souvenirs, etc. We will return.”

“It was a great visit. Even when the staff didn't show up in the morning, they solved it so we had a wonderful breakfast. Thank you a very nice visit. Willrecommend to everyone and we will be back someday.”

“The mattress on the bed was excellent, though the pillows could be better. The interior spaces were full of a huge array of fine antiques. The exterior spaces are under construction or in need of maintenance. Breakfast was a true Southern experience and a good fit if you are planning to bike the Virginia Creeper. The bathrooms are shared among the guests with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite, which is huge. The estate is minutes from the trail and the outfitters who support bikers and...

“Nice”

“Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.”

“Good value for the price, but it's right next to the highway so the noise was awful. I expected them to have some noise mitigation measures in place, but there were none.”

“Good clean room for the stay.”

“The room was very clean and quiet. My only problem was I wish people would understand handicap people's needs. My mom couldn't take a shower because was not handicap accessible. And only king rooms have walk in showers. My mom travels with my husband and I and we are not all sleeping together.”

“Kelly of the housekeeping staff really went above and beyond in helping us find a stepstool solution so my wife could get back up into our truck. Kelly also helped get her wheelchair into the room. Otherwise, our Accessible room was very clean, but didn't have a single USB outlet -- understandable with an older facility, but disappointing. The breakfast was pretty minimal (no fruit, the few pastries were somewhat stale, etc.), we had to find the coffee and make a new pot (staff nowhere to be...

“Trevligt hotell och bra beläget med närhet till affärer, restauranger och motorväg. Perfekt för resa i området eller vid genomresa.”

“There was rat poop in between our bedsheets. The tub was dirty, like if someone just got out of the tub and left it they tried to give us another room. The adjoining door would not lock, but they thought that they could put a chair in front of the door to hold it shut. People are living in the hotel one couple said that they were in between places to live so they were staying there for a while. It was absolutely disgusting. The outside looked abandoned. The whole experience at this hotel was the...

“Awful in every possible way. Never, ever again. Even if a place is worn down it can be clean, this room was not. Wonder of the sheets had been cleaned between guests. Gap between door and wall. Felt like one of those places in horror movies where only one person comes out alive. But cudos to the photografer who managed to make it look decent. ”
