“We arrived and found that the restaurant and bar were going to be closed for the duration of our stay. This is a remote area, so we had to drive to locate any food or drink. We had to change rooms several times, as we wanted a room on the lakeside and had to upgrade to a handicap room, due to the toilets being so low to the ground in the regular rooms. “The bathroom fan, which was also the light, sounded like a motorcycle chopper. The floor above sounded like someone was going to fall through the ceiling. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were rough. The breakfast was pretty much non existent. We were pretty disappointed.”

“When I checked in I was given a room number and key card and upon opening my assigned room I was greeted to a man sleeping on the bed. He then woke up and started screaming. Apparently there was a mistake and I was given an occupied room and the card to a room that was occupied. The mistake was made right but that experience was a little disturbing for a solo 19 year old girl traveling late at night. Overall room was not horrible but that experience was not very pleasant and I would not stay at...

“Upon arrival, we noted that the parking lot was empty. We walked into the office and it had a stale, sour smell. Being cautious, we asked to view the room before checking in. The clerk handed us a key card. We went to the room and tried to open the door. No luck. We peered through the window. The room looked dingy and dirty. The bed was poorly made. We returned the card to the clerk. Did not check in, drove another hour to the next town. I will never stay at this motel.”

“About 30 mins from the Shenandoah! And 5 mins from Luray where you can get food. Staff was very helpful with check in. Beds are a little hard but overall clean and tidy.”
