“Had a great time, the location of the house is just breathtaking, spent an age just staring at the waves crash against the rocks, saw turtles too! The house is a canny way of the main road situated in a quiet neighborhood, house well stocked. The only issue we had was the heat, we knew at the time of booking the AC was only available in the bedrooms but the lounge and dining areas we found too hot but us Brits just not use to the heat. “This location was perfect for exploring the national park and the southern end of the island. You can be looking at the Kilauea caldron in less than 10 min from the house! The house is cozy, and beautifully built. We loved sitting out on the back porch and watching the family of pheasants peck around every morning. It was a bit musty smelling, and could use a deep clean but the price is pretty low for the location and all the space you get.”
