The Space:
Surrounded by a large fenced in lot, plenty of room to toss a ball, BBQ on the propane grill or simply enjoy the fresh air. Parking is accessed off 27th street, driveway is steep but please park in the driveway and not on the street as street parking is not allowed. Herring is a connector road that brings shoppers from East Waco into downtown for all the popular stores and dining Waco offers. Conveniently accessed and can be busy on the weekends.
The Neighborhood:
The Dean Highland neighborhood was established to house staff from the original Hillcrest hospital which is just up the street. The neighborhood is diverse and there is a walking trail around the parking lot at the hospital (which is no longer an operational hospital) There are "Fixer Upper" featured homes sprinkled throughout the neighborhood.
