Wow, Anon, Another keyboard warrior hiding behind "Anon", You have the same comments as the "in house " guest, so I'm guessing its the same person that didn't even stay!! Lets address your concerns- *****cold rooms.... thats what reverse cycle air conditioners are used for-reverse cycle so you can turn on the heat! ***** unfriendly message everywhere-we have : no smoking, Innkeepers Act, air-conditioner temperature and check out time, All 4 our fairly standard across ALL accommodations. *****3 page email after booking- yes everyone who books with us does receive an email full of information BEFORE you arrive, so you know what is and isn't in the room, has a motel mud map attached so you can locate your room and the key safe, and yes at the moment it is a little longer due to the COVID-19 instructions. Again, it is better to be informed BEFORE you arrive, and if you dont like the information, you can always cancel. Good morning Anon, My apologies fr the lateness in replying, as it didn't chow up on here and then we went away. All our staff are friendly and helpful, and regardless of their position try to make our guests comfortable and enjoyable. With reverse parking,there really is not a lot of difference in the distance that you need to carry bags etc when unloading. Where the difference and insistence on no reverse parking comes from filling the rooms with fumes, and particles from exhausts. Also, if you are sitting enjoying a coffee our the front of your room, the last thing you want is the fumes in your face. Our rooms are clean and comfy and very affordable. We glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope that you will return to us again should you venture back through Wagga. cheers Jill

Good morning Anon, As you are aware, we were away at the time, and it was unfortunate that the pool pump did break, something that was out of our control. Had you booked directly ( you booked in the morning and arrived in the afternoon) and explained that you were coming because of the pool, then this could have been explained to you then and there. Our relief managers, like all reception staff aren't expected to know that the reason you booked is just "for the pool". There are other motels that have pools but also don't have the same affordable rates as us. The pump was replaced first thing yesterday morning on our arrival back at work. I can apologise for the inconvenience, and perhaps suggest that you ring and inquire before booking in the future to safe the kids' disappointment. We do appreciate the fact that you did still score us 3/5 which means that you were happy with every thing else. cheers Jill

Good afternoon Stefan, Yes, we are a basic motel, 3.5 star, all the photos on every website are true to life and not photo-shopped, so that before you book you can see exactly what you are reserving. For the tariff that you paid $75 per night, I would not think that you would expect luxury! If the staff were unwelcoming, which I find hard to accept, then you had the opportunity not to be re-book, as your reservation had been cancelled. If you read the reviews below, the comments are "friendly staff" "staff can't do enough for you" "welcoming staff". So I will not be asking my staff to fine tune their customer service skills. If you read the conditions or fine print, it does say that the full tariff will be taken on booking, with a non refundable financial fee. We do not take your payment, and if you check your statement it says "Accommodation Services" on behalf of the Junction Motor Inn. It was refunded by them, as you had cancelled your initial reservation as you had booked the wrong dates, not our fault! Also you are the first to state that our "Information" email was " such a harsh "welcome" e-mail. Most of it should be common sense I would assume." It might be commonsense for someone that has worked in the industry for 20 years, but for the travelling public, they all appreciate the information, so again, they know what to expect on arrival. We don't appreciate guests, who "sneak" their partner in after the office has closed. Then in the morning, the partner walks out of the motel to stand on the other side of the road, waiting to be picked up, all for the sake of $15.00! We do have good security cameras! Good morning Cameron, You said when you checked in the room was made up for 2 people, as all rooms are. We ask our guests to consider towel usage, you were only here for your first night and had used 2 towels and came looking for more the next day! There was 1 clean set replaced. There was never any mention of "or anything else". All rooms are serviced daily ( with the exception of the 2 bedroom unit), we empty the bins, pull up your bed, replenish all condiments, milk and towels daily. Our air conditioners are wall mounted and not ducted, so yes they do make some noise, they are not whisper quiet like most guests have at their homes. If the en-suite door was closed all our rooms heat up very quickly and being double brick retain the heat. Also there are electric blankets for sleeping warmth. With all guests I suggest they read at least 10 reviews so they can get a good cross section and see when there is a problem outside the motel's control. My question is; why would you suggest to both my husband and I that you would love to come back and stay and bring your wife, if you were so unhappy? We wish you well in your studies. cheers Jill

Good morning, All our rooms are shown in photos on all websites, so that you can see EXACTLY what our rooms look like, and what is in them BEFORE you book. You paid $70 for your parents, in a budget motel, even though you you had only booked for one person, and became quite upset when we charged your dad the extra $15 for the extra person. Yes, we are an older style motel that has window air-conditioning so they are not noiseless like the ducted ones in the higher priced motels. I also explained this to your father on check out. I also explained this in your personal reply. I would suggest in future, read the description and look at the photos before you reserve a room for your parents and make sure you book and pay for the correct amount of guests. cheers Jill

Unfortunately my first response did not follow guidelines! You arrived late and were told on 4 occasions, 3 emails and 1 phone conversation NOT to bring your trailer into the motel car park or to reverse park. At 10.15pm you drove into the car park with your driving lights on and reversed your trailer into the car park. You became quite augmentative when asked to remove your trailer and not to reverse park. Please do not visit our motel again unless you can follow the rules, which are there for a reason, like everyone does. regards Jill

Also what we lack in mod cons we make up with very clean, comfy and friendly staff. As for the noise, it is like the beds... "Goldilocks", while maybe noisy for some is quite for others, what is hard for some is soft for others! The guy in the room next to yours-closet to the highway, when leaving this morning commented on just how quiet it is here! Our motel rooms, do provide everything you need for an overnight stay and are extremely well priced. 4/5 means you found our rooms clean, comfy and affordable, which is great. Perhaps Peter should have reminded you that we walk to work, as we don't live on site, therefore we don't have tools available to loan, be they for replacing a flat tyre or unlocking a car. He did suggest you ring NRMA, who have these tools readily available as this is their job. We hope you had an uneventful rest of your trip. cheers Jill

Good afternoon Anon, What a shame you didn't put your name to this so I could see which "small" room you were in? As for no plates or cutlery this is ALL explained in the information email that was sent to you on the day you booked, as this is done for everybody regardless of with whom they book. No iron or ironing board, did you ask? We could have provided you with one. You stayed in a budget motel (in a motel room, not a unit or an apartment) with the most affordable tariffs in Wagga, we can keep our tariffs down by not supplying all the "extras". The plates and cutlery get broken or stolen and they need to be washed up- all contributing to the overall costs. Thank you Anon for your great review. The room in which you stayed is our semi disabled unit, so does have the rails and larger en-suite. Not sure why you were surprised to see a microwave but no cutlery or crockery, as this is in the information email that you received 3 days prior to your arrival. The same email that everyone receives on booking, so that there are no surprises when you do arrive. It is a motel room, and not a unit or an apartment, and this is the difference. We do provide a jug,toaster and microwave for the convenience of all guests which is very much the norm for all motels. Being 80mts off the highway does make it a little less noisy, but this is part of the "Goldilocks effect"- whilst its noisy for some, others find it quiet. Thanks for acknowledging our comfy beds, as this is important for a good night's sleep. We do look forward to your next visit, should you ever venture north again. cheers, Jill

What a shame Denis, It seems that reading or understanding information is something that neither you or your off-sider can do! The room description clearly states: 1 queen in the main room, 1 double and 1 single in the second room, 1 single in the alcove and 1 sofa lounge, quite clearly enough beds for you and your mates. I can count 5 beds! It is a shame that your off-sider couldn't follow the instructions you gave him,OR that you didn't check in first as you had the email with the instructions! You were told on numerous occasions, and it highlighted in green on your confirmation email that you receive on booking, that no one is on site to let you in after 8pm. You were sent the instructions email at 4.05pm,so you had plenty of time with to read, understand and ring IF there was an issue, it also requests that you acknowledge the email. You told us there were 3 cars, so we sent a mud map with the extra parking spaces, which you found OK! We can only assume that you understood as you didn't ring back to query anything. Another guest that checked in 15mins before your off-sider had no problem what so ever in accessing the key and his room. Also when you arrived in your high van, you sat with your lights on and engine running for so long, the guest in that room directly in front of you came out to see what was going on. At 10.15pm you would have a little courtesy for the other guests who are already in bed and asleep. Also your off-sider was not told by our staff "that its not his problem", because at that stage he hadn't even spoken to him! This system has worked extremely well over the past 4 1/2 years with only 3 "lock outs" and they were all guests who didn't receive the email, but were given instructions from their travelling partners. Everybody reading these reviews will read them for what they are! hope you enjoyed your golf! cheers Jill
