A beautifully renovated and converted period property. Our room looks out on a lovely courtyard. Breakfast granola, yoghurt and milk thoughtfully left in the fridge. so much nicer than a motor inn.

Very nice place to stay in what felt like the suburbs of Wagga Wagga. We had some issues with the AC, but in general we loved the room. The muesli and yogurt provided for breakfast were a nice touch.

The Houston is a beautiful old building that has been well maintained and very comfortably fitted out. Comfortable beds, lots of natural light, generously sized bathrooms, all very clean. Lovely shady courtyard garden where we enjoyed a cuppa. Hoping to visit again.

Very good
Lovely clean room, great facilities in nice part of town. Comfortable bed. Breakfast included with fresh fruit and yoghurt a nice inclusion. Easy check in.

Hi JoanneThank you for taking the time to write a review.The mattresses were replaced three months ago. Most of our guests highly recommend our beds for their comfort and softness. We would have been happy to work with you to remove the pillow top from the bed if we were aware that you found it uncomfortable prior to you departing after the first night.

Such an amazing little boutique hotel. The room was so cozy and the included breakfast was also a plus. Only stayed here one night but wish I was able to stay longer!

We loved the property and location. The fridge and kitchenette were stocked very well with real milk added rather than the small packets you often get allowing for a real coffee with frothed milk to be had.

Always stay at The Houston when in Wagga and the standard has always been excellent. Easy check-in, friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Close to the best coffee in Wagga and 2 minute walk to grocery shopping, pleasant 10 minute stroll through a rose garden to the main street for boutiques, wine bars and plentiful food options. Highly recommended.

The building is old & restored really well. Lovely garden & surrounds in a quiet heritage area. The only downside is the parking - only room for 6 cars, so if it is full the street is your only,option. The shopping areas are not within walking distance neither are most restaurants. Our room was cost & the bed very comfy.
