Catching all day sun the living areas, including the dining room, sunroom and kitchen, all offer great indoor-outdoor flow on to the sundeck and garden. An electric awning and sun umbrella provide the perfect shady area throughout summer, when you and the family are hanging out outdoors or having an alfresco BBQ dinner.

Come winter, the very comfortable lounge makes a cosy place to settle in to. Pop the heat pump on to keep the home toasty warm, then take your pick of the great selection of DVDs or board games for a bit of classic family fun. Complimentary WIFI is a great entertainment plus too!

The spacious and fully equipped kitchen is well set up for anyone in the family to show off their cooking prowess with some delicious holiday favourites. And at the end of the day, the dishwasher is a welcome amenity to save time on the clean-up!

Fantails Roost is a mere six-minute walk from the beach when it's time to hit the sand and surf. Come and go as you please, leaving the car at home. Be sure to pack a picnic and sunscreen! When you get back from the beach, a summer must-have awaits; an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and salt!

If you bring your boat, there is a ramp just three minutes away, with a protected tidal harbour for fishing, water skiing, kayaking and windsurfing. Or venture out across the bar for excellent fishing and diving.

Head to Waihi Beach, just a 10-minute drive up the road, for shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. Fantails Roost is also an hour's drive away from Tauranga, and close to the Karangahake Gorge for the wonderful walking and cycle trails.
