The condo looked exactly as pictured - quality, comfortable furniture, including the bed. The woodwork is beautiful throughout the rooms and is in nice condition. The kitchen was equipped with kitchen tools, dishes, pots and pans and some condiments. We loved the view from the lanai, the semi privateness.The location is great - easy access to the King's and Queen's Villages and about a 12 minuted walk to the beach. The host agent was very friendly and accommodating! Easy to reach.

Big Island Getaway

Two couples, one from CA, the other from VA. Very comfortable furnishings, nice view, clean and neat, beautiful wood in the kitchen area. Totally enjoyed being close to 2 nice shopping centers, coffee, restaurants, etc.The guys played golf on the course that you look at off the lanai and enjoyed that and the discount they got for staying on the property!

We were thoroughly pleased with our stay at Hale Okakopa. It was very clean, well stocked with appliances and the location was great. The golf discount was substantial. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay and explore the big islan

Great location in the middle of the Kona - Kohala coast. Great beaches, snorkeling and other activities. The condo is conveniently located to shopping - walk to the King's and Queens shopping complexes in Waikoloa Beach. The condo was very clean and nicely upgraded with new cabinetry. We would stay here again.

Fantastic place!

Beautiful place! Very clean and the property manager is excellent! She responds quickly and kindly. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. My husband is a woodworker and enjoyed the well made cabinets and woodwork made by the owner. This place will not disappoint!

Everything was as promised. Beautifully furnished condo close to everything. Big screen TVs in living room and master. Infinity pool overlooks golf course. Golf discount is huge! Highly recommend!

Exceeded expectations

My wife and I stayed 12 nights in this beautiful condo, and couldn’t have been happier. It was very clean, very comfortable, and overlooked the green on the first hole of the Lakes course. I took advantage of the great golf discount that was included with our stay in A22. The reserved parking spot was just a few steps away, and was nice when we were bringing in groceries. Many shops and restaurants were within walking distance, and we walked to the Hilton several times for dinner and watching the sunset. We are planning another trip to the Big Island next year, and plan to book the same condo.

Excellent location and clean apartment.

The property is clean and spacious. Great view of the golf course. All basic amenities were there. We were given wrong driving direction to the property. It was troublesome especially in the middle of the night. No explanation was given as to why that was. Not much communication with management. We had to email and followed by phone call to get check in information. Even then, we were directed to a wrong property 10 miles away.

Perfect location for everything!

Waikoloa is the perfect location to get to anywhere on the island and way less crowded (& nicer) than the Kona area. The unit and complex was lovely and had everything we needed as we cooked and ate in 90% of the time. The specific unit had a view of the golf course, petroglyphs, and one of the mountains with a volcano. It is walking distance to the Queens Marketplace with a good grocery store that also has take out food and the Kings Market with a few restaurants and other shops. The pool area is very nice. If you are a snorkler there are many beautiful beaches north and south of Waikoloa Village to explore. We saw a monk seal at one and many sea turtles at another. Hilo is only about a 1.5 hour drive up and over the hill with lots to see there too. The property manager was good to work with also. We will definitely rent this specific unit again.

Waikoloa Wedding Week

We (a college friend and I) had a wonderful time here. The booking process was easy and Adriana could not have been more friendly and helpful. Alaskan Air changed our flts so we arrived much earlier than expected and departed later. She was able to get us into the unit 2 hours earlier and also gave us a 2 hour later checkout, which really helped. The unit had everything we needed, was very quiet and a quick walk to the wedding at the Marriot (and both King and Queens Market Places). A bonus is that the condos are also right at the Petroglyphs! I would agree that non stick pans would be a plus as would an inventory list of items in the kitchen. A bowl and plate were missing and we wouldn't want to get charged. This location is perfect for snorkeling up the bay (a short walk) and seeing sea turtles. It was not crowded at all! Hopefully I can return with my husband. Mahalo!
