“The setting is north-facing, to bush and a rocky-bedded stream. Apart from the occasional sound from some friendly animal, you hear burbling water and wind in the trees. Inside everything is ‘proper’ and well maintained. The fire has copious supplies of dry wood replenished daily, from trees on the property. The couches are comfy and the kitchen is well-appointed. Ōkaihau is 10 or 12 kms away and has cafes and stores. It is a lovely small traditional NZ town. Village? The location is convenient...

“Beautiful property, loved the peaceful setting and convenience to so many local attractions. Our kids loved the outdoor area, perfect place to come back to and relax after a busy day sightseeing. Linda was so welcoming and we had an amazing holiday!”

“Lovely house, well situated, beautiful views. Comfy beds, great showers. Provided everything we needed. However, lower bedroom still has damp musty smell and we had no wifi and no Netflix as modem had failed and needed replacing. Property manager responded immediately to internet problem and replacement arranged. Read comments about noise from ferry wharf but we did not find this intrusive.”

“The house was presented immaculately and the owners were just great to deal with. We were on a boys golf trip and the four beds accommodated us well. The property is situated in a really nice quiet area. The house had everything we needed including a nice clean bbq and sky sports. This house is perfect for any group of 4 and I would highly recommend it. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back again one day.”

“Ett trevligt hotell beläget i utkanten av Paihia, dock nära gångavstånd till dess centrum samt till Waitanga, platsen där Nya Zealand skapades. Härlig balkong med utsikt över havet. Rent och prydligt. Fullt möblerad liten lägenhet med alla förnödenheter man kan önska sig. Premium kanaler med Sky utbud. Rikligt med platser för parkering. Trevlig personal. ”
