“It is a very good hotel”

“It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel .”

“I didn't realise this was a love hotel before booking, and probably wouldn't have booked it if we'd known. What a mistake that would have been apart from the talking point back home. I'm sure there are some seedy ones, but love hotels are quite common in Japan for those that live with parents etc. There was nothing seedy that we saw in the 6 days we were there. “Modern hotel with old Japan touches. Loved the yakata robes and tatami mat floors. Most comfy Japanese hotel bed ever. The cafe that serves breakfast below was amazing and I loved the quiet location in Arashiyama. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the river.”

“Wonderful clean, spacious and beautiful apartment! Staff all very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for Shinkansen and Toji temple was a must visit. Busy road but not a problem and didn’t stop us sleeping very well. Would recommend!! (Apologies to staff that the umbrella was not returned to holder, it was taken when we left it outside a shop and I forgot to get a replacement) ”

“Property owners are very nice. Showed me the entire inn. Answered all my questions. The bathrooms and beds were very clean. Kitchen was spotless. Would stay there again.”

“Allt var bra. Rummen är rena, allt jag behövde fanns i rummet. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma och trevliga och pratar även engelska om det behövs. Hotellet är nära tågstationen Toji. Vilket gör det lätt att komma till och från hotellet (om man kommer från Kyoto station)”

“They were really nice and helpful at the hotel. Only problem that the movie services were a little faulty and didn't always work. Also most of the movies were dubbed in japanese which was a shame. BUT It was an awesome hotel and we will probably go back when we come back to Kyoto! The service was amazing and the price was awesome considering everything you got with it.”
