“When we arrived at this property we were unable to get in because we were not given the correct code to the door. About 40 minutes after contacting the host, they responded and gave us the correct code. When we entered the house we found that it was not cleaned from the previous renters. “Nice place, nice stay. Nicely furnished and outfitted. Owner made the place available a little early at no charge, which we appreciated. Owner is also very responsive and of course friendly and helpful. Great central location. Location is generally quiet but, for those sensitive to noise, apartment does back up to a road that can be busy/noisy on the patio, and in the living room and rear (larger) bedroom. A noise machine is provided, probably for kids but nice regardless. Recommended!”

11. Budget Friendly Bungalow

“We traveled to Raleigh for my son's NCSU orientation. The communication with Midge the owner was easy and we were able to reach her both through the VRBO platform and via text. The neighborhood was cute - all the homes were similar in size and when we walked around the block in the evening several neighbors said hello and the one directly next door offered my dad a chair for sitting outside. The home had ample mugs & cups and the living room was spacious enough for four to sit comfortably. We...
