The location of the house is good, but that's about all it has going for it. Was unclean - there were cobwebs and spider webs all over, the shower was not clean, the mirror in the primary bedroom was incredibly dirty, the coffee and dining room table both had food still stuck on them and were generally gross, the carpet is stained in practically more places than not. We killed a black widow while there. 10 am check out is a little silly, given the overnight price. Overall, nowhere near worth the money and upsetting to pay such a cleaning fee and be met with a house that we had to clean in order to be comfortable.

Location and beach access were breathtaking!!

I loved this location!! Beach access was amazing even though you had to walk just a lil to get directly on the beach. The house itself was just as pictured for the most part, I did not notice the place didn’t have air conditioning which I’d be fine with if alll the windows had screens. Only a couple of them had screens so bugs definitely flew into the house especially after dark.(One of the girls got bitten by a mosquito we assumed) The shower still had hair in it so that part wasn’t okay. As for the rest of the house everything else was good. Downstairs had some pad locked doors and no signs labeling them so it was a bit scary at night especially to get down to the laundry room. It was a house with four ladies so we all forced each other down there together lol. That’s all for the inside. Now the patio was nice but be careful walking on all the boards out there, some of them needs to be replaced, it was loose and a bit scary to walk on in that corner. The hot tub was nice especially after our hike but it was filled with sand on the bottom that part was a bummer but we needed a soak. Maybe putting a bucket there to rinse your feet before you enter the tub would come in handy. That’s everything I could still think of, I still gave a five star review because the location and the place deserved it! Those were just some of the things we experienced on our stay that would improve the stay for other or ourselves again in the future. So book it those views/memories will be worth it!

Lovely beach house experience

Having the beach such a short walk away was amazing, we couldn’t get over how wonderful it was being able to walk out on the back deck and hear the waves. House was relaxing and clean. We can’t wait to stay here again, thank you for the great weekend.

It was okay at best

The property was outdated and the carpet smelled moldy. The view from the house was a sand dune. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad but the sand burs were bad.

This house has everything you will need. It is basic. You cannot really see the ocean from the windows. The carpet absolutely needs to go!!! Furniture is really old too. New mattresses are a must! We loved walking the beach, gazing at the ocean from their bench on a higher dune. Three couples, three queen sized beds, very good kitchen knives. Happiest of New Years to all!

Great location and beach house

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The house furniture and decor is dated and carpet needs some attention but that didn't make our stay any less enjoyable. The beach just over the dunes was heaven! Great location for day trips to different towns.

A short walk through the dunes

This is a fabulous location. All you have to do to get to the wide sandy beach is to cross the deck and walk through the sand dunes. Also, there is a large hot tub, where you can listen to the sound of the waves as you soak. We used the house as a basis of our exploration of the Central Oregon Coast, venturing as far south as Florence by way of the Heceta Head Lighthouse, and up to the "Outstanding Natural Area" of Yaquina

Nice home right on the beach!

ENjoyed this home with plenty of space - comfortable with fireplace for chilly nights right on the beach! My elderly mom could enjoy the views without risking a fall and we could walk right out over a small dune to the beach..lots of rock collecting. Close to acquarium and stores downtown Waldport also. House was clean and had all amenities we needed It does have steep stairs to enter which is listed

Great Family Vacation spot!

We loved our stay at Daly's beachfront house with our children and young grandson. The house had easy access to the beach, excellent kitchen and even sand toys for the little one. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful and Relaxing

We enjoyed our time in Oregon and this home was a great place to stay. Access to the beach was wonderful! We loved the hot tub, especially because the weather was chilly. My only suggestion would be to have more hooks to hang wet towels and swimsuits. This house was a great base for lazy mornings and then returning in the evenings to watch a movie, play games or get in the hot tub.

Amazing view, steps from the ocean!

Amazing location, literally walk out the door and you’re at the beach. Hot tub was perfect way to end the night. Ample seating in the living room. Downsides- small kitchen, dishwasher might require two rounds to clean dishes, minor fixable issues. For example, broken blinds, grill was too rusted to use, mattress and bed frames were worn. The house is cozy and the perfect spot for a family/friend getaway but definitely “lived in”.

Wonderfully Quirky Home

Great house with amazing views! The hot tub was delightful. The green marble and carpets were very quirky. I only wish that we had known the fireplaces were wood. We went to the store and bought wood and had beautiful fires to warm up every evening.

Lovely property, not very impressive management

The property itself was totally great but management was pretty inept. We booked over VRBO and received confirmation but never received checkin instructions. Morning of, I messaged over VRBO asking for checkin instructions. No answer. So, later in the morning I called Oregon Beach Vacations asking for checkin instructions. After 35 minutes(!) on hold they took my information and said they'd ask a manager to reach out to me. That never happened. About 20 minutes before checkin (at 4pm), in the driveway of the property, I called again. Only 10 minutes on hold this time before an agent answered and we struggled for about 15 more minutes at the door to get me the code to the lock box that had the key. The property owner was looped in too, though they didn't have the lock box code either. Eventually the Oregon Beach Vacations agent found the lock box code that would open the door and we got in. Pretty stressful. What happened? Did the person managing this property quit? Did they have a medical emergency? No idea. No follow-up at all over this; they appear completely oblivious (or shameless) about it. Fortunately no problems came up during the stay, although I dreaded having to call Oregon Beach Vacations if it did, because my confidence that they would've been able to smoothen any issues was pretty low. I've stayed in a few dozen holiday rental properties in my life and this one was by far the worst experience for checkin.
