“We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!”

“The cabin was exactly as advertised, and perfect for our weekend getaway! Wraparound deck was perfect for morning coffee, the house was clean and organized while fully stocked for everything we needed. Fall foliage was beautiful in November! “Cute little rental neighborhood with several modular home cottages. You can hear buck creek but you can't see it. Very quiet especially because we were the only people there. Close to downtown Highlands. Small but homey and clean. Hot tub was already on and waiting for us.”

“The house is cozy, warm and nice. Very comfortable for the two of us. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom closest to the hot tub which made our weekend. Check-in couldn't be any easier. If I had to pick on something, it would be the tight parking for a full size truck. I would stay again the next time we visit Highlands.”

“Beautiful location in the Toxaway Community. The drive is beautiful and close to Cashiers and Highlands.
