“Everything with this hotel we liked: the service, the room, the breakfast, the style. However, when we got off the train in Medlow Bath the conductor asked us if we had gotten off at the wrong stop. Which is a good indicator that you are in the middle of nowhere. And then we had to walk through a park and a residential area to get to the hotel which looked like any other house. “Place was full of character with complimentary food, John kindly let us leave our luggage there while we went hiking after checkout and before our train back to Sydney. Room was spotless with fresh flowers when we arrived. ”

“Staden Blackheath o detta motell ligger perfekt till för att uppleva o vandra i de bästa delarna av Blue Mountains. Många vandringsleder o utsiktspunkter i närheten. Motellet var trevligt, rent o personalen rar. Vi beställde frukost som room service, som var lyckat. Rummen är gammaldags o lite slitna o visst oljud från stora vägen. Men läget är som sagt toppen. Blackheath stad är mycket liten o lite shopping o restauranger, men väldigt genuin småstad på landet.”

“Nice property, good food and a good vibe. Lots of locals hanging out there, and a lil park close by. On the down side- you'll hear traffic and the trains honking at night so maybe not if you are a light sleaper.”

“A lovely hotel to stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and very cosy. Staff were amazing especially when our Gas fireplace was not working, they went out of there way to get it fix which at the end they just gave us another room with a fireplace working That’s what we call customer service.”
