“Great restaurants and bars line the board walk. The beach is covered in rocks if you did not do any research. The restaurant/bar attached to the hotel is great, I ate there multiple times.

“Very nice stay. Loved that El Tunco is right behind the property.. access to beach, restaraunts all in the backyard. The staff was great. Wanted to leave (late check out) and was told we couldn’t after calling the night before because someone booked the room. That was disappointing but we were able to stay on the resort until 4pm. Room was small for two if you want space but amazing view, clean, food was okay and bar was a nice vibe. Got a massage for 1 hour for $50. All in all had a great time!”

“The staff was amazing!!! They were so nice that we decided to go back to this hotel for a second time in the same week! Also breakfast are included and so tasty! We had the king bed which was very comfortable and the pool is big enough to swim and has great temperature. This hotel is a good place to relax and is 10 min away from el tunco if people want to party or surf and 15 min away from san blas a more quiet beach. ”
“Tunco is a quaint beach town were surfing is the primary attraction. A walk along the streets, shops, and street vendors make for a colorful experience but be prepared to sweat as virtually nothing is air conditioned except our hotel room that was a great refuge from the heat. This hotel was the right place to stay and we will return. Wait staff in restaurant was only average, but rest of staff was great! Breakfast ok with no substitution made choice more complicated... ”
“I had a great experience with El Xalli. The room we stayed in was great. The kitchen was well stocked, the rooms were large and the entire facility is well maintained.
It was a bit far from venues but we Ubered to a lot of places which was fine. However, I would recommend fixing the entrance because a lot of ubers would nit drive up the hill.

We stayed at the villas and are beautiful with a small private pool.
We didn’t know that there was another common pool where the villas were. Nobody told us. We saw it on our last day. It was a shame but ok.
