    Matsal.
    Kök: Med dubbel ugn, spis, mikrovågsugn, kyl, frys, diskmaskin och kaffebryggare.

Privat parkering för 2 bilar. Ingen rökning.. Hambury House är en vacker, nybyggd halmtakstuga i den pittoreska byn West Lulworth.
    Fastigheten har smakfullt utformats för att delikat integrera traditionella funktioner som halmtak och träbjälkar i byggnaden, samtidigt som de behåller en modern känsla.
    Fastigheten ligger i hjärtat av byn, inom en kort promenad från bybutikerna och ett par pubar, inklusive en halmtakskrog på 1500-talet som sägs vara ett av de äldsta allmänna husen i Dorset.
    West Lulworth, som är känd som porten till Jurassic Coast, ligger inom en vacker 10 minuters promenad från den pittoreska Lulworth Cove, en skyddad hästskoformad naturlig hamn.
    Historiskt sett var viken beryktad som en populär landningspunkt för smugglare som ville landa sin olagliga byte. Idag är en flotta av fisketrålare baserade i viken samt fritidsbåtar som erbjuder natursköna dagsresor längs kusten. Dess skyddade läge gör viken särskilt populär bland strandgäster som vill sola och bada.
    Lulworth Cove ligger bara en halv mil från Durdle Door, en ikonisk naturlig kalkstenbåge som har presenterats i flera musikvideor, tv-produktioner och filmer som Nanny McPhee.
    Weymouth och Portland, officiella seglingsplatser för olympiska 2012, ligger inom 20 mil.

Lovely spacious house, lots of room for entertaining /cooking for large group. clean and great bathrooms. Agree with previous reviews that lounge furniture needs updating, elderly parents struggled to sit comfortably, but overall a lovely good value autumn break .

Lovely house in west lulworth

Lovely house but urgent need to replace ALL mattresses unfortunately we all complained about the beds I have to say welcome pack superb just get the beds sorted and we will definitely be back soon until then we need to find other accommodation

Perfect location and lovely cottage

It was and extended family holiday. From a location perspective it couldn't have been better. We walked down to Lulworth cove every morning (literally 5 mins walk). Easy reach to Durdle Door. Several places to eat and drink within a short walk. The cottage was just lovely. Really spacious so we all had some privacy but lovely family spaces to eat, play games and relax. Lovely closed in garden which is great with small kids and a dog! Already looking at booking again for next year

A few days away.

Lovely property and a beautiful area. Property was well equipped and all very clean. A couple of points though as feed back. We found it difficult to operate the TV. And had an issue with the bathroom locks that could not be opening from the outside. We had a 3year old in our party who locked himself in until we made him understand that he needed to push the bolt aside. Just a small point but it was a bit of a worry at the time. We all had a lovely time though and will hopefully come back some time in the future.

Booked Hambury House as a change from our usual Lodge break.Took my elderly parents and an Aunt who all have varying degrees of mobility issues and don't really like leaving home.They all fell in love with the property the minute we pulled up outside. Then once inside they were like kids going from room to room excitedly.Hambury House 'feels' like home, its not a sterile show home type cottage.It has the perfect mix of comfort and functionality. To say it is well equipped is an understatement..... the kitchen has everything you could ever need and some things you didn't know you needed.. A separate utility room with washing machine and dryer leading to a garage containing BBQ, chairs and parasol for the perfect little terrace/garden. Parking for 1 vehicle on a gated drive plus 1 in the garage if needed.Beds all made up on arrival and the towels provided were huge and soft, not like the normal hotel grade sandpaper type.Only minor moans i heard was there's only 1 tv.... but was quickly countered with you're on holiday not watch tv... and the beds too low and soft... i get the bed was probably lower than they were used too and maybe softer but considering they didn't wake up till 10.30 one morning, it must have been comfortable..Overall a very enjoyable break and we will definitely be back. Everybody in our party enjoyed the home away from home feel and the comfort Hambury House offers.i would recommend to anyone.

Lovely house, great location and very spacious.

Lovely house, great location and very spacious. Fully equipped kitchen, nothing that wasn’t there to cook on holiday in the cottage. 4 good sized bedrooms, large living area and kitchen with enough chairs for 8 people. Location about 30 minutes from most attractions (Weymouth/Swanage) however walking distance to Lulworth Cove (10 mins max) and Durdle Door (45mins along the coast). We had a fantastic time and considering coming back to the cottage next year - lockdown pending! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Hambury House

The property is fabulous, done to a high standard with a superbly equipped kitchen. Unfortunately our holiday was spoilt as the ensuite shower leaked through the dining room ceiling light on the first morning and the ensuite toilet broke. Despite notifying the property manager there were lots of excuses but the shower was not fixed until the last day and the toilet was not repaired when we left. Also the shower in the main bathroom did not work and was not repaired so all 7 of us had to use one ensuite shower for the entire stay. The Dining room could not be used in the evenings as the water leak had fused the lights.

Despite dreadful weather our break at Hambury Cottage was relaxing and enjoyable. Extremely comfortable and, well equipped and so spacious - a lovely place to come back to. Every bit of equipment was of good quality and the property generally was very well maintained and clean. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a good family holiday home.

We had a wonderful week at Hamburg House.

We had a wonderful week at Hamburg House. Plenty of room for the six of us. Great location. Lovely walks and a great pub five mins walk away. We have reported a water leak from the shower in bedroom two. We found the landing floor wet. Only one complaint. We did find the bed in the master bedroom was too soft which made sleeping very uncomfortable. The mattress needs to be replaced.

Only a couple of issues babies cot is a travel cot not cot as said also beds are a little uncomfortable maybe could do with new mattresses but didn’t spoil holiday. Lovely cottage and great location. Maybe carpet and rug in lounge could do with cleaning. We had a great week.

Overall a wonderful stay, helped by glorious weather. The property is extremely well equipped and will not disappoint. The location is superb for both Lulworth Cove and Durdle Dor, generally most places in Dorset It is a 10 minute walk to the cove and Durdle Dor is about 1 mile away. Would we want to stay here again and the answer is yes.

Hambury House is a lovely spacious house and we had a brilliant stay, it was very comfortable, and clean we would book again in a heartbeat. The bedding and towels were of hotel standard which also made for a very comfortable say. The Castle Inn Pub was very unwelcoming, would never go there again, the staff were only taking bookings for dinner for the local residents, we felt like we were intruding. Thank you.
