The central space both upstairs (kitchen and living room) and downstairs are very open, leaving a great ability to interact with each other. Everything we needed was there, the beds were super comfortable. Also, I'm always nervous renting on here out of fear that the host won't communicate enough. That was never an issue. “Our stay was amazing - beautiful property with beautiful views! We loved seeing deer, view of the the pond nearby and the sky is so clear, you can see satellites and shooting stars very well.The owners were so detailed and friendly to leave treats and firewood for the fire pit on the patio. We stayed outside every evening. We plan to return, as the peacefulness and proximity to local attractions that they even recommended was perfect. Loved this booking! ”

“Love this cozy cottage on a small farm. It was perfect for our family! Shawna and her husband were the perfect hosts. We enjoyed the goats and chickens! ”

“Such a phenomenal experience! The place is tucked away, though the woods and in the middle of pastures with horses on one side and alpacas on the other. Beautiful, secluded, quiet. We got a chance to enjoy the full gamut, and the kids loved every second of it -- from meeting and feeding the alpacas (as well as a super cute baby deer rescue) to watching a polo match on Saturday evening.Mary and Pino were very responsive, welcomed us onto the property and gave us a tour, and made us feel like...

“Beautiful, serene… the house is wonderful and provides privacy for 3 sets of couples with each having a bedroom and bathroom on their own level of the home. The setting is just fantastic. Great amenities!!! The only drawback is the path to the river is extremely steep and not easy to navigate. The owner did allow us to drive down the path but def need a 4 wheel drive to do so. The owners were wonderful and very responsive! ”

Our family was here for a wedding, so there was a wide age range, and we all had a good gathering area, as well as some privacy with the upstairs bedrooms. The futon couch wasn't very comfortable to sit on & an end table between the couches would have been nice. But it had everything we really nice. Thank you!”

“The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. ”

"After a long flight from Europe landing late at night it was nice to only have a short transfer bus to the hotel - make sure you go to the right place at the airport to catch the bus, and notice there are 2 Hyatt hotels so you take the right one. Check in was quick and easy - nice big room, it was like a small apartment, very nice if you stay for a while. Breakfast was basic but had all I wanted, nice do-it-youself waffle iron. Didn´t like plastic knife/fork...but thats about all what I have to critisize about ..nice hotel for the money, only a short walk from the trainstation to take us directly downtown Washington. "
