“We stayed at this property for one night and had a mixed experience. The location was definitely good and convenient, but there were several issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The property had a “for sale” board outside, which was unexpected and gave the place an odd first impression. The biggest problem was that there was no water for about three hours, and despite reaching out, we didn’t receive any response from the host during that time. “Super convenient location close to Minden and on the river. We needed somewhere convenient to stay for a hockey tournament and this fit the bill. Communication with the owner was great and he was very accommodating.”

“What a great place if your looking for a quiet relaxing stay. Even the scenic view off the back deck, of nothing but green forest, was soooo serene. But what really put this place over the top for us, was the beds. Probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in.”

“The stay was very pleasant. The kitchen was very equipped, the covered BBQ and hot tub was very nice as well. The only thing I'd suggest is to add another shower to the washroom in the basement, as it has only the toilet. The overall experience was great and we'll definitely come back next winter for another skii and snowboarding weekend!”

“Bathroom floors and vanity not clean, sheets on one bed seemed damp, back porch was not clean, many days not clean, sliding doors had cobwebs at all corners, no screen door here, steps from parking to door in very poor, dangerous condition, kayaks were not cleaned off and made ready for use. This cottage had not been made ready for guests. Concerned that vrbo is advertising for unkept property. We wasted time, money, dreams of a wonderful weekend ruined!!”
