“A beautiful property with so many thoughtful touches for guests! The location is excellent - a lovely neighborhood close to downtown sights and restaurants - and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. A great find!”

“stora rum och bra frukost som ingick. Rent och fräsch!”

“Very nice room. No drawers to store clothing, only open shelving. Lots of outlets. Handheld shower spray a plus, but very high. Petite person could never reach. Staff courteous. Not much to do in surrounding area.”

“Väldigt trevlig personal.”

“Ett helt ok hotell, dock var downtown Raleigh inte så kul. Vi var lovade en sen utcheckning vid incheckning. Men så blev det inte.”

“Checkin was a mess. I was told to take a smaller room than what i had paid for, i insisted and was then given key to a room that was already occupied (with bags and clothes everywhere) Some 20 min later i got access to an unoccupied room. Attitude of reception staff nonchalant. Later during the stay i again found reception staff members non-cooperative. The hotel is old and feels dingy. Room itself fine however. Easy access to downtown Raleigh by bus, stop just 200 metres outside.”

“This might have been my worst hotel experience ever. First off they put me on the first floor, which I requested, but they also put me in a room that was very close to the street and the front parking lot. Even though it was the first floor, because of the design and the sloping of the parking lot, I still had to climb steps. Because I was so close to the main street and parking lot, throughout the night there was loud music, loud talking and sirens so I got very little sleep after having to...

“Typical of Hampton Inns with all the usual advantages and disadvantages. Large comfortable room but the amenities are poor verging on non-existent. Arrived late but the bar, which was open, was serving no food. I was directed to the ”shop” which only offered junk food. The breakfast buffet is very poor, the paper plates and plastic cutlery feel like the final insult. I don’t know why Hampton choose to aim so low. No bottle of water in the room, you have to ask for it. ”
