“Nice, friendly staff. Very, very nice room with ultra large balcony/terrace. Pool fabulous. Breakfast room and lounge had unfortunately the atmosphere of a funeral parlour and had very uncomfortable (but nice looking) chairs. Would come back though. For the room, pool and terrace. And for the service! At safe walking distance to Umhlanga Village with lots of restaurants and close to the beach promenade.”

“What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home. “Stay was good. Shower 🚿 head needs some attention. Leaking. Mattress needs to be changed slowly caving in in the centre. Sleeper couch mattress is horrendous. Sleeper couch was grubby. Needs a good clean. Overall the place was spotlessly clean. Came across 1 cockroach. Pool was good. Cleaning staff and security are very pleasant. Front desk not sufficiently manned. ”
