“We absolutely loved our stay - the owners were so friendly and welcoming, the included breakfast delicious (even able to accommodate a gluten allergy with advance notice). The location was perfect within walking distance to a number of great restaurants, pubs and grocery store. We hiked two days in the area - can’t wait to come back!”

“The Inn Keeper was so kind and made it so easy to check in. The property was well maintained and quiet. I do need to mention that the stairs going up to my room were absolutely treacherous, having the steepeat incline Ive ever seen on a staircase. I have mobility issues, which made it quite scary.”

“Old Saco Inn in is an excellent family-run hide-out in a besitiful forest, very secluded but still near to most interesting things to do in the Mt Washington area. One of the best places we stayed at, incl. some five-star hotels, on our three week family round-trip in New England.”

“Rose was great and accommodating to us. Communication was great so if we needed to adjust the room temperature she was on it right away. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable! Unfortunately we were up and out too early to have breakfast, but I have read great things about it! Overall, it was a peaceful stay and we had a great time in Maine. ”

“The owners, Carol and Denis, were just fabulous! So courteous and accommodating. They welcomed us in like we were family and not guests. The location was clean and quiet and warm in a cozy way. I loved the 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, the gorgeous antiques, and the hominess. Even the house itself invited you in! And the breakfast? Fantastic!! So fresh and delicious and huge! I was stuffed every morning! The only issue was the parking was a bear trying to get in and out of safely....
