“Everything about the trip was exactly as we’d hoped. So very close to everything, and nestled within gorgeous Ithaca nature. The place was very cozy and the host very responsive :)”

“Beautiful cabin and location. The pictures are a bit outdated actually, we were pleasantly surprised that things seemed more modern than the listing portrayed. Easy check in / check out. Only issues we ran into were the parking restrictions and weren’t notified of the additional parking across the street until right before we arrived. Would have been nice to know prior. The beds aren’t very comfortable and we could have used a few more toiletries. Otherwise, we had a lovely time and would stay...

“We had an amazing bachelorette weekend for a soon to be bride! The rental gave a perfect cottagey vibe with cute decorations and beautiful lakeside views. We enjoyed all sitting around the large dining room table and using the fire pit on the patio, as well as cooking on the grill for dinner! My only suggestion would be to include at least one full length mirror in the main house, and designated hampers for used towels. We had so much fun and really hope to visit again!!”

Very communicative and helpful with local information and suggestions. They were ready to assist whenever needed. Unfortunately the weather kept us from taking advantage of their kayaks but they were all available for use. Wonderful stay!”

“My wife and I stayed for two nights, comfortable house with interesting gardens. House was very clean. Did not matter to us but second bedroom has very low ceiling. Main bedroom had nice mattress. Easy check in and was nice and warm with lights on when we arrived which was a nice touch. Clearly they make an effort to make your stay comfortable as they can. Even a little toilet paper flower in the spare roll. ”

“Loved the location and private access to the lake. Sunrises on the porch with coffee were unforgettable. 1950s charm with modern amenities, can’t beat it. Loved the original front door and rotary phone, a step back in time. Steps not a problem, just a little extra exercise. Clean and comfy. Only notes would be to replace the couch (seems well loved) and address the subfloor in the bathroom by the shower, but not deal breakers. Will stay again! ”

“This property was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Watkins Glen. The cabin was in an excellent location, close to town for dining and shopping, we enjoyed our stay , everything is provided for you and is spacious and clean. We will most likely come back when weather allows for more seasonal activities like hiking, camping and boating. Access to trails was very limited due to icy conditions but the frozen waterfalls provided some beautiful photos , looking forward to...

Dirty, funky smell

"I stayed for four nights and I do not recommend this hotel. The room and hotel was overall dirty and had a very funky smell that sticked to everything that was in the room. Further, the toilet clogged the first night and was not repaired until the third day (even though notice was given to the reception), entailing that I had to use the toilet in the reception for two days. When informing the reception the first time, they responded "it is common, try to flush". Also, I am pretty sure that I did not have fresh sheets in my rooms as I found several dark hairs in the bed (not my hair colour). I further tried to contact the hotel before my stay both via hotels.com and by a form on their website, but I did not receive any response. The breakfest was very poor. However, the wifi was good!"

"Rymligt rum likt de flesta andra i USA med två queen sängar. Ett pluss för att det fanns tops och lite annat man gärna glömmer i badrummet. Ganska bullrig A/C men vi är glada att den finns! Poolen var stängd."
