“We stayed here 4 nights and it was fantastic! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. The food was good, served at tables under the shade of the coconut trees by our waiter, Karu, who was always attentive and polite. One day we requested a special meal of fresh fish for dinner (must be requested at breakfast time), which the chef cooked to perfection and served at the time of our choosing that evening. “Staying at Castle Bay Guesrhouse is like visiting your family. Kanthi and Kantha are very warm and welcoming and want to make their guests comfortable , happy snd well fed..Kanthi is a great cook and her dahl is the best. Rooms are well maintained and very clean. The location is walking distance from a beautiful beach and a short tuk tuk ride to restaurants and other beaches where you can surf or snorkel. We highly recommend this very economicak guest house .”

“Here is only one positive thing about this hostel is rooftop restaurant and amazing guys and ladies who work there. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO BOOK THIS HOSTEL. “Väldigt tråkigt rum. Men där ska man ju ändå bara sova. Läget på stranden var bra. Hotellet lånar ut surfbräda och body boards, det var toppen. Weligama har inte så mycket att erbjuda men det är lätt och billigt att ta tuc tuc till mirissa.”
