"Stayed at Amari colombo for 2 weeks with my family and we really enjoyed every day of our stay at the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast and the food in the hotels restaurants were excellent. The rooftop experience including the infinity pool was great. The service from the hotel staff was fabulous and I would specially like to thank Mr. Aravintha who was very professional and serviceminded and would really go that extra mile to give you the best service. Thank you very much Mr. Aravintha."

"Positivt: Fint, rent rum med direkt utsikt över stranden och havet. Fantastisk frukostbuffet. Pampig kolonialbyggnad med fantastiskt läge. Utsikt hela vägen till Colombo skyline. Härligt pooldäck. Negativt: Kunde inte bada i havet pga för stora vågor. Restaurangen vid stranden var stängd. På pooldäcket fanns endast ett fåtal parasoller, så det gällde att få tag i ett snabbt då det är för hett att ligga i solen. Otroligt långsam service när man beställde mat eller dryck vid poolen eller i baren. Ignorant personal, plockade inte undan matrester så det var många kråkor som samlades på pooldäcket. Väldigt fuktigt och nedgånget i de långa korridorerna i vår flygel. Dåligt skyltat, vi gick som i en labyrint innan vi väl hittade från vårt rum till receptionen. "

"We enjoyed very much to stay at this historical, colonial hotel. You could really feel how it must have been and still is, this very fashionable luxury hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We liked to stay by the pool and swim in the 30 meters long salt water pool. Breakfast was excellent. It seemed to be many English guests. It must be special with the colonial heritage. All staff were polite and very helpful. The location was excellent next to the sea. It is a special hotel you shouldn’t miss."
