Stugor i Wells River

“This was a perfect lake getawat. We wanted to fish and sit vy the water and thats what we did for the week. The lake was clean and it was nice to have the paddle boat and row boat to take out on the water. The porch was perfect for playing games on when it was dark outside. The house was big enough for our family of 5 and a dog. I would definitely recommend this cottage. We didnt go anywhere but it is about 40 or so minutes to area attractions.”

“So blessed to have been able to share our favorite place with our friends this last trip. My boyfriend and I came her for the 7th time, and we will continue to come back. We love the tiny red house but was honestly jealous this trip that our friends got to stay in the large tree house, might have to rent that next time we go. “Renter beware. This is a transformed shed. The loft with a mattress is a box storage area. Not for people of size or age. The second bed is a small futon. River is not accessible because of erosion and broken glass. The river at this spot is not a place to swim because of debris building materials and car parts . The river view is spectacular and bird watching was good. A few other things but the owner said he would address those issues. Then weather was great! ”

“We do not have anything bad to say about this stay which was a great launching point for our first trip to the white mountains. From the cozy bed to the fire pit to the hot tub, we appreciated everything there was to offer which allows us to relax and get good sleep after days exploring on our feet. We arrived later than we hoped and appreciated how lit the property was which allowed us to easily check in. Would absolutely stay again! ”
