This vacation home is rented throughout the year! We do accept monthly rentals for traveling nurses and Doctors and we are within walking distance of the hospital.
What a beautiful property this is! You won't want to leave! They say it is all about location, location, location. Well this house has just that. The house was built in 1840 and is in the historic part of down town Wellsboro. If only this house could talk and tell us some stories. I was told that at one time this house was a carriage stop and also a post office. Now it is time for you to make some memories here that will last you for years to come.
You can leave your car parked in the driveway and walk down town or bring your outdoor games as the yard across the bridge is huge. Our kitchen is well equipped for dining in. The dining room is bright and has a table that seats 8 for dining, socializing and games in the evening. There is an enclosed back porch to relax in and a large comfortable living room. We offer a master bedroom on the main floor with a bathroom and shower just off the bedroom. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom, tub and shower. You do need to provide your own sheets and towels.
This is a perfect place for couples to gather and spend a weekend together. It is spacious enough to accommodate 4 couples, cozy enough for just 2, or great for a ladies week end away. This is an old house and has a step up to the dining room and a step down to the kitchen, living room and foyer. There is a deck outback to sit and enjoy the sound of the creek as it trickles by. But please, do not walk or sit on the stone wall. An outdoor fire pit is in the back yard for roasting hotdogs or relaxing in the evening. Wi-Fi and Dish T.V. is set up for those rainy days.
Are you a baseball fan…The Little League World Series in Williamsport is about 45minutes to an hour away.
We ask that you keep things clean during your stay and leave the guest house as you found it. Our cleaning people will do all the final cleaning. Please be respectful and courteous to our property and our neighbors.
