“Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus !
Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe.
Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code.
Not ideal …....
“My wife and I stayed at the Copthorne, it is situated within a retail park easy to get to from the M4. Stayed two nights, the room was basic reminding me of the 90's, it was clean, there was tea/coffee facilities, ironing board, TV that was temperamental, fridge and a comfortable bed. Although shown as a FOUR star, it really is THREE. There was no safe, no air con, no tissues and no pen or notepad. Ryan checked us in and he was full of information, a credit to the hotel.
