“This house is beautiful and comfortable! It is a very quiet neighborhood, so you want to make sure you aren't planning an evening party! It was perfect for us! “This property was everything we could wish for in a lakeside cabin. Secluded, quiet & beautiful land complete with a gas grill, fire pit, porch seating for cool evening dinners, spacious dock for lazy days fishing or swimming and a canoe with paddle’s & various sized life jackets for exploring lake Smith. The cabin was super clean with all of the necessities. The beds & linens are comfy with extra blankets just in case. We loved our stay & recommend to everyone.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Disappointed that there is no view of the lake from the house. The trees in the listing picture are now fully grown, hiding the view. We ate locally at Chef Troy’s and visited a few flea markets. Walk to the lake is steep but manageable.”

“This home and place is so special. We loved that every one in our family had a space for themselves to sleep and so many spaces to just sit and be quiet, to fish, to read and relax. Night time camp fires overlooking the water and watching the night sky. The kitchen was fully stocked so that we were able to grill and cook our favorites all day. A great place to get away from it all. Beds were nice and cozy too and host was so quick to answer any questions we had while there. Highly recommend for...

“Time Out of Mind is very remote; and once off the main road, it’s very rough with potholes. BUT you arrive at a house that sits on the bank of the MOST picturesque little creek you could ever imagine. Even in winter we enjoyed the kayaks. Restaurants are few and far between, so be prepared; and you’ll probably want to bring your own favorite cookware. Also, bring your favorite family games, and you can truly put “time out of mind”.”

The huge screened-in porch was absolutely perfect for enjoying a good book on while also soaking in the view. The house was pretty clean overall, but seemed like maybe we were the first ones there after being left empty for the winter - some cobwebs on the walls/ceiling and some stains on the comforters.”
