“Front desk people were so helpful and nice. There arent fridges in the rooms but the lady at the front desk offered us her own cooler so our food didnt go bad. Lovely property, very charming with gorgeous views and good food. The building is old, the pipes/plumbing have some minor issues--but it's very clean and well kept. Cozy, rustic charm that makes it the perfect rest stop after a long day of exploring the island.”

“We have a reservation and on our arrival they said the reservation was for the next next day? The booking was "pay on arrival" but the money was taken 2 days priror. Major problems with them using the reservation system. Sent us to a sister property. Room and staff were great there.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much at Painter’s Lodge. Located right on the water, with a private pier, we soaked in the views and loved that an orca swam by! Staff was very helpful and accomodating. The grounds were well kept, the room was clean. We would have liked to have a screen on the window so we could keep the window open in the evening.”

“Our reservation for the weekend was cancelled twice by VRBO. The owner of this property, Scott, was extremely helpful. He helped us fund other dates and contacted VRBO to change our reservation.The property is a nice location but we were dissapponted to see that the photos indicated a noce cabin and we got a basement suite with virtually no windows. The front window was covered by a big equipment, the main bedroom window covered with wood making the room totally dark during a super sunny day....
