As with rooms above pubs it is quite noisy but pretty well sound insulated and the pub closes relatively early. Staff were pleasant, helpful yet unintrusive. The room we had did not have main lighting so was very dark even with the side lights on and if you opened the blinds people on the street could see in - especially from the flat across the road. “Very nice place. The interior was fresh and cozy with many details. In the garden you could sit and have a drink if you didn’t want to sit in the salon Excellent breakfast. Situated in a nice area in the city, 10 minutes walk to the seafront and another 10 minutes to the pier. We appreciated the free parking inside the yard. The girls working there were nice and helpful. It was a hot day and there were no air conditioning, but the fan was quite ok.”

“Recently refurbished so that was nice . We thought all the staff were really friendly and professional to both humans and dogs . It was nice that the team at the hotel all pulled together , conversed with the guests and looked good in their uniforms. We have no qualms about saying Book ! you will love it - its a very welcoming place in the middle of the forest. ”

“Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”
