Avslappnande Vintage Beach House -Rymlig trädgård och utsikt över Long Island Sound-

  • 4 sovrum hus med två badrum och en utomhusdusch på en rymlig tomt. Huset är omgivet av blåbärbuskar som kommer att förse bär till frukost många sommarmorgnar i juli och augusti !! Gå till stranden precis vid trottoaren !! Stranden är privat med stenar att krabba och dyka från. Själv inne i en vik. Huset har en matsal och en skärmad veranda för spel och läsning. Den stora gården erbjuder rumspel inklusive majshål, krokett, frisbee etc.
    Huset har en tvättmaskin och torktumlare, två tv-apparater, kabel-TV och internet. Huset ligger nära fina restauranger och utmärkt shopping. Daly Beach House ligger bara en kort bit från Essex och Old Saybrook med bil. Båda historiska städer att besöka och njuta av. Staden Mystic ligger bara 30 mil från öst. Mystic är hem för Mystic Seaport och Mystic Aquarium. 20 mil västerut ligger Yale University och staden New Haven. Berömda Wooster Street är värt ett bilbesök. Hem för American Pizza's födelseplats.

We loved our stay here. The walkway to the beach in the backyard made for a great view and walk to the beach.

A Cozy Christmas retreat

IT is a located near the beach in a nice little neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants and shopping nearby. A comfortable house for a family to share.

Yale Graduation

We all enjoyed the historic, clean, and perfectly located home. Though we stayed prior to the main summer season, the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the 5 minute walk to the beach. Essex was fun to explore, and the Water’s Edge Resort was a convenient 0.5 mile away. It was nice to get away from New Haven in between all the graduation festivities to our little beach retreat!

Beautiful home

Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Lots of history and places to be explored. Beautiful, well kept, very clean, cozy and equipped home. We loved the place and hope to come back soon with the rest of the family specially during summer.

We stayed there for a conference at Water's Edge. The house was very lovely and clean, equipped with everything that we needed. It has a bath tab which I really enjoyed. The owner was very supportive in communication. Thank you for letting us stay!

Christmas 2024

Perfect location to spend the holidays with family and friends. Lots of room and a short walk to the beach, which you can see from the sunroom. Older home with neat history. House was clean with a nice size lot in a quiet neighborhood. Hostess was very accommodating and responsive. Enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

Fabulous beach house!

Everything was perfect! Floating chairs in garage and wagon made it great for the beach! Love the cement walkway to beach. Property manager Fern promptly answered my questions and was very kind with my requests! Would love to stay here again!

Fantastic find

Great spot, easy to get to. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Loved being in a house with a large yard instead of a cottage with a minuscule patch of grass. Lots of room and very clean. My husband is already considering it for next year!

Perfect getaway spot

Beautiful house walking distance from the Atlantic Ocean. Fern was a wonder host. House came with everything you need from kitchen supplies to linen and even board games and outdoor furniture. Enjoy the history that comes with the house.

Family Reunion

Needed a place to stay for a family reunion and this house was great. Lots of room and a great location. House had everything you could possibly need. Tons of baby stuff which is a huge help when traveling with a baby so I didn’t have to bring all that extra stuff. Owner was exciting deal with and would response right away. She was very accommodating to anything that we needed! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Wonderful Ct Beach Property

We recently stayed at this wonderful beach house. The house was clean and comfortable with updated bathrooms. The unexpected part was the setting. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with open backyards and a private walk to the beach area. We spent a lot of time enjoying the beach with the grandkids collecting treasures or playing and enjoying the backyard. We will gladly rent this house in the future.

Making Memories in comfortable family home!

We had our family of 7 (and two nights had 9) stay a week at this property and had a most enjoyable time. The neighborhood is so pleasant and quiet and the view from the yard was just what we all needed -- just a short walk to the beach! When we checked in we did encounter a problem with the cleanliness of a couple rooms but I let the owner know right away and she responded immediately with apologies and a small credit to our total cost. We really appreciated that and our family felt right at home and enjoyed the house a great deal. The history of the home was interesting to read about and it made it special for our family to spend time in a home you could tell is very loved by many. Will definitely look into going back for more memories!

Graduation celebration

We were in the area for our adult child's graduation from law school. What a comfortable place for five adults and one dog to come home to after events and festivities. We enjoyed gathering in the porch area as it rained gently. Gathering on the side lawn for gift giving when the sun came out. Snuggling on the comfy living room furniture in the evening to watch a show or sporting event.Walking to the water, and even taking a cold dip! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make brunch. I felt so at ease and at home here. Fern was quick to respond to any question or request. It was a hard place to leave.

Just what we needed

This house was perfect for us. We love Westbrook and have come to know the area well over the years due to friends of ours having family houses in the area. This property was centrally located to our favorite stops such as Atlantic Seafood, Johnny Ads, not to mention a quick grocery run to the Big Y. At the house itself, it is a quick walk to the private beach, with a bonus open backyard that is part of a shared space where you can play catch and other games with the kids. The house also comes with more than you’ll need to play at the beach including chairs and toys and floaties, plus yard fun including cornhole and croquet. We did have one question once arriving and we simply messaged Fern on the VRBO app, to which she replied and helped us in a matter of minutes. This was just what we needed!

Nice stay in Westbrook

Property was just as expected. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to cook and go to the beach. It included beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella. Very quite neighborhood. All homes well kept with lots of pretty flowers.
