The first house to be built in the village dates back to the 16th Century. This Grade II listed building is just on the outskirts of Margate, close to art, culture, restaurants and dining. Downstairs comprises three large reception rooms. The living room, drawing room and dining room so that everyone can enjoy eating together. The kitchen is a large area, ideal for social gatherings and with a range of appliances to make your stay just perfect. Bean coffee machine, hot tap (no waiting for a kettle). Plenty of refrigeration space, including three fridges, plus specific wine cooler and an ice dispenser. If you’re cooking on a ceramic induction hob and a double electric oven, plus two microwaves and a dishwasher to take care of everything afterwards!

The Westgate train station is 200 yards away with a mainline into London and Margate. Alternatively, a quick, easy taxi or bus travel to Margate, just five minutes away or any of the surrounding towns in the area. The beautiful Westgate beach is just a 7-minute walk, and if you want to wander, there are beaches in both directions, Minnis Bay.

Margate’s Old Town rejoices in a funky vibe. Margate’s rich history is everywhere. Rediscover childhood toys in the Hornby Visitor Centre. Explore the Shell Grotto’s subterranean, shell-lined passages as well as the Dreamland retro amusement park, where music events are regularly held, and the Turner Centre Art Gallery, regularly displaying different artists’ work.
