“Spent two nights in the Bell Hotel before the rest of my golfing buddies arrived for gold at the Princess and Royal S:t George. Great hotel with excellent location in the centre of Sandwich with walking distance to literally everything. You find a pub or restaurant just around any corner basically with an individual style and atmosphere. A place I will revisit again ! ”

“Hotel staff was excellent, warm, and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure we we comfortable. Location is a walk to Cantebury but is in a quieter area. Rooms were clean and well kept, breakfast was well done. Parking lot is small but very well maintained. ”

“Nice location, nice room but the bed was too soft for our liking. Unfortunately the pub next door had a band and loud karaoke until very late then the dustmen went past about 4 times at 6 o'clock. A very disturbing night because of the surroundings.”

“Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...

“Geräumiges ruhiges Zimmer. Kostenlose Parkplätze, super Lage, vor allem, wenn man von der Dover Fähre kommt oder am anderen Morgen übersetzen will. Das gleiche gilt auch für die Tunnelverbindung. Frühstück und Abendessen möglich. Würden wir noch einmal machen.”
