Once home to the town’s historic shipbuilding docks, this peaceful waterside setting offers fabulous views across the harbour, where you can watch boats glide past and spot local wildlife. During the summer months, you may also see the heritage steam train making its memorable journey into Whitby on the opposite side of the water.

Secure undercroft parking provides added convenience, while a lift offers easy access to the apartment on the second floor. Families are especially well catered for, with a small play area within the development and opportunities for children to try crabbing along the harbour at high tide.

Inside, the apartment is bright, welcoming and thoughtfully furnished. Explore the cobbled streets, independent shops and atmospheric yards before climbing the famous 199 Steps to St Mary’s Church and the dramatic ruins of Whitby Abbey. Tate Hill Beach, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the bustling harbour are also within easy reach.

Experienced paddleboarders can enjoy adventures in the harbour when conditions allow, while beginners can visit the seasonal surf school near the West Cliff beach huts. Here, you can hire paddleboards, surfboards and bodyboards or book a lesson before heading out to enjoy Whitby’s beautiful coastline.
