  • Grade 2 Listed Swordfish Cottage. It is situated along Church Street opposite the pay and display car park. The bathroom has a shower. The open plan living room/kitchen is spacious and is a lovely little ‘hideaway’ place.

    Set in a Grade 2 listed building lies our beautiful Swordfish Cottage.

    Swordfish Cottage is a basement and there are stairs leading down. The building is approached via 3 stone steps.

    Please bring linen for the sofa bed and travel cot if you plan to use these.

Whitby September visit

Great location just off the harbour. Being in the basement there was some damp but the hosts doing the upmost in counteracting this. However this would not put me off coming back

Folk week

Excellent communication with owners of property. Only issue was resolved satisfactorily. A couple of extra saucepans would be useful.
